Machiavellian/seemingly uncaring towards others. Very controlling. Carries guilt of keeping secret of bad guy beneath palace. Overly controlling towards daughter, because worried for her. Believes he is doing right but expects to be reviled for it; sees himself as hero/martyr/outcast figure.
